Le créateur de ce projet est né à Byblos, l'une des plus anciennes cités du monde et berceau de l'alphabet — entouré, dès l'enfance, par l'histoire. Depuis des générations, sa famille, les Abi Saad, veille sur les trésors que la mer et le temps ont déposés dans la pierre du Liban, aujourd'hui réunis au sein d'un musée. De cet héritage est née une conviction simple : avec les lumières du passé, on éclaire les chemins de l'avenir, et chaque objet se transmet avec son récit. Fort d'une décennie au cœur des institutions françaises et internationales, au plus près de l'histoire de France et de celle de la Méditerranée, et nourri par l'enseignement du droit et de l'histoire, il a réuni autour de lui une équipe de passionnés. Historiens, guides et plongeurs partagent une même ambition : faire vivre l'histoire par la visite, le partage et l'objet de mémoire, d'une rive à l'autre de la Méditerranée. Sur terre comme sous la surface, nous prolongeons ce récit — jusqu'à la rencontre des vestiges que la mer a engloutis.

The creator of this project was born in Byblos, one of the oldest cities in the world and the birthplace of the alphabet — surrounded, from childhood, by history. For generations, his family, the Abi Saad, has watched over the treasures that the sea and time have laid in the stone of Lebanon, now gathered in a museum. From this legacy was born a simple conviction: with the light of the past, we illuminate the paths of the future, and every object is passed on with its story. Drawing on a decade at the heart of French and international institutions, close to the history of France and of the Mediterranean, and shaped by the teaching of law and history, he has gathered around him a team of enthusiasts. Historians, guides and divers share one ambition: to bring history to life through tours, sharing and objects of memory, from one shore of the Mediterranean to the other. On land and beneath the surface, we carry this story onward — to meet the vestiges the sea has swallowed.
